Morning Exercises To Calm Your Anxious Thoughts

Morning Exercises To Calm Your Anxious Thoughts

If you're anything like me, your morning routine (or lack thereof) can have a big impact on how the rest of your day goes. I know that if I start my day off feeling rushed and stressed, it sets the tone for the rest of the day and makes it harder to be productive and happy.

That's why I've put together this routine that I think will help you start your day off on the right foot, and improve your mood in the process.

1. Wake up at the same time each day, even on weekends. This will help to regulate your body's natural sleep cycle and make it easier to wake up feeling well-rested.

2. Take a few deep breaths and stretch as soon as you get out of bed. This will help to wake up your body and mind, and start the day with some mindfulness.

3. Make time for breakfast. Skipping breakfast can make you feel irritable and tired, so make sure to give yourself enough time to eat a healthy meal.

4. Get outside for some fresh air. Spend a few minutes each morning soaking up some vitamin D and taking in some deep breaths of fresh air. This will help to improve your energy and mood.

5. Take some time for yourself. Whether it's reading, listening to music, writing down intentions for the day, or just spending a few minutes in silence, make sure to do something that relaxes you and makes you feel good.
